Yesterday was Ngee Ann Sec Sch's Founder's Day Celebration. I was one of the co members to perform for Founder's Day. The co practiced very hard for this and I think they did a very good job while performing. Together, we played 3 songs, feng shou luo gu, hong lou meng and hua hao yue yuan. I couldn't play feng shou luo gu very well due to lack of practice and the different diao because I was rushing and I wasn't familiar with D diao coz when I was in primary school, I always practiced with G diao. I could play the other 2 songs coz they were in G diao. We spent afternoons and even evenings in the CD shelter, practicing and rehearsing. I could hardly find time to do homework. I didn't mind that coz there wasn't much homework to do. After all our practices, we performed really well that night. We were the last to go on stage and we had to wait till 10pm before we could perform. Luckily, I had funny and friendly seniors to make the wait more interesting. At 10:15pm we finished performing and went back to the CD shelter for dismissal. One of my seniors said that soon, I will be the solo zhong ying sheng player. In my heart, I felt so sad coz my seniors were leaving to prepare for thier exams T_T. Btw, I'm only Sec 1 and the first Sec 1 in co this year to get a CCA point. HAHA! Who says being in co in primary school was useless?! HAHAHAHA
